Bel Air has a unique place in this world, being so close to Hollywood and filled with people that make their living in the Entertainment Industry. We have many opportunities and tools to help you discover and share your faith every day.

GodStory, Bel Air's Creative Community, is a group of people committed to telling the stories of God working in and through Bel Air Church. These are storytellers, journalists, creatives, techs, and producers. If you'd like to use your skills in this way please visit the GodStory page or contact Jenny Garris.

Beacon Mission, Vision, Values

Beacon exists to inspire and revive Christians working in entertainment and media so that we may be empowered to persevere in our callings and Jesus may be more distinctly known through our work and witness.

A community of Christian entertainment industry professionals empowered to fully utilize our God-given gifts, talents, and strengths through mutual encouragement, shared insight, and common purpose.

  • A safe, welcoming community of peers
  • Modeling and being transformed by God's loving kindness
  • Dedication to mutually uplifting one another spiritually and vocationally
  • Excellence and integrity in our work

Beacon Leadership:

Rev. Kim Dorr-Tilley, Pastor for the Entertainment Ministry,, ext. 131

Jenny Garris, Coordinator to Entertainment Ministry,, ext. 134

You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hidden…let your light so shine before others that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven. (Mt. 5:14, 16)

  • Welcome Team- We are always looking for those with a friendly demeanor and loving attitude to greet and welcome all who walk through the doors. Inform and encourage, along with being a part of our prayer circle before the event begins.

  • Food Service Team- Do you enjoy preparing and serving food for the community? We would love to have you as part of the group! Our Dinner Team prepares, serves, and cleans up the light dinners Beacon provides during our monthly event.

  • Social Media- Do you love social media? Help us administrate and build community using great tools like Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
